Now, having the word honest associated with the word rape……well, that just unnerves me A LOT!!! Next, what is an honest rape opposed to a dishonest rape? Hmmm …… I don’t know. Is an honest rape one who ejaculated inside the woman while he kindly brutalized her or is it where he ejaculates outside the woman while she is being brutalized. Okay, now is it a rape that is honest if she goes to the doctor for the rape a week later or is it a dishonest rape? Hmmmm………….I don’t know. So if a woman states that she is raped seven months later while pregnant, then this would not constitute an honest rape but a dishonest rape. Right? Hmmmmm………… I don’t know.
I always thought rape was rape. I had no idea that someone who was a medical professional, a doctor in fact had them broken down to such types of rape. Interesting. I wonder if all medical professionals do this same thing but wait………hmmmm…….could it just be very ultra conservatives. Hmmmm………….I don’t know. Could it be an IQ deficiency? Hmmmmmmm……Again, I don’t know.

I think it comes under the same heading as Santorum’s description of a child resulting from rape as “a gift from God”.
Truly they are a pathetic group.
I tend to think he means “honest rape” as opposed to those women who claim rape when, in fact, it wasn’t. For instance the stripper in the Duke lacrosse investigation a few years back. Probably as an ob/gyn, he’s heard cases of supposed rape that turned out to be false reporting. I may be totally wrong on what he means, but living so close to Duke, that case came to mind immediately.

Yes there is always this angle, however, he wasn’t referencing in the capacity of an allegation against someone but on the action of a woman wanting an abortion. So in apply the situation he is judging what he terms an honest rape as one that has a timeframe associated to it for purposes of abortion not for allegation toward someone. Now I would never advocate for someone to have an abortion at 7 months due to the fact that this infant can now live outside the woman’s body in the NICU. So to me giving a woman an abortion at this point is murder as far as I am concerned. Again, he comes up with another extreme of 1 minute before birth. This is just absurd and anyone doing this should go to jail for murder. My issue with his whole presentation is that somehow a rape becomes dishonest upon timing of when a woman wants an abortion. Now the act of a rape is now judged not on the act itself but when the woman decides to make it know that she conceived from a rape. Who is to say that a 7 month pregnant the woman was not raped but he has set up a criteria of whether that is an honest rape or a dishonest rape. At 7 months, the issue is really beyond that point of whether to consider rape a factor as many babies can live outside the woman’s body. Now it becames a matter of getting social services involved and determining the best route for the baby and whether adoption should be considered. I am absolutely opposed to abortion at this level due to the fact that this infant could very well be placed in NICU and live just fine without the mother’s body containment. It should be noted the very few and I do mean very few women ever contemplate an abortion during the last trimester of pregnancy.
