Gingrich: He needs to re-think his religion.

Man let me just tell you, I love politics.  It can give a person so much to write about.  The sad part is, this is what we have for presidential candidates.  So our boy Newt, is all up in arms because President Obama has mandated that employees at Catholic hospitals must provide insurance that covers birth control.  Catholic hospitals by the way are also funded by taxpaying dollars.    Here is yet again, another example of taxpayers paying to religiously operated organizations so that they can discriminated against someone in some form. I might add and offer services to people who are not Catholic as well.  The hospital also employees people who are secular or of different religions.  So why should they adhere to the tenets of the catholic religion.  A hospital is not a church.  It is a hospital.  If Catholics what to inflict their religion on people then do so from the church.

Now here is his statement:

“The fact is what you’re saying is there cannot be a genuine Catholic hospital,” said Gingrich, who converted to Catholicism in 2009. “It will have to be subordinated to a secular government.”

Now, here is the killer thing.  Apparently it is Newt’s interpretation that the Catholic tenets covers the blessings of “open marriage” and adultery.  I tend to think he is just a little mixed up on that one.  Of course, I did apply that stance to his current religion on this one as it is his wish to light the night fantastic.  Maybe he would do better with the FLDS and their tenets.  This religious cult allows for an open marriage and adultery and keeps those pesky women in their place.  You know barefoot and pregnant.  Here is the article for your reading pleasure.

It takes so little to outrage Newt.  Like asking him about his many affairs and open marriage views.
