Don’t know if all of you remember the incident back around Halloween, during a parade there was an atheist dressed up as the zombie prophet Muhammad. This atheist was attacked by a muslim. The attacker deemed it to be offensive and as such he believed it his right to attack. So the attacker is charged and it goes to court. Guess what? The judge chastises the victim for offending the muslim’s sensibilities. In fact ,the judge goes on and states that it is the duty of the attacker to defend the prophet and the victim caused him to do it. The judge told the victim he was insensitive to his religion and culture. Oh by the way, the judge is a muslim. Apparently, the judge doesn’t follow constitutional law but religious law. Hmmmm………could this incident re-start the whole argument over states instituting bans against shariah courts . I do believe many religious people are opening up a lot of cans of worms. This is just another saga in an ongoing slew of religious extremism in the US which needs to be addressed.
Oh. It should be noted that the Catholics did NOT attack the guy wearing the zombie Pope attire. Personally, I am getting damn tired of muslims over developed sensibilities that seems to result in people getting beaten up, arrested, killed, etc.
