Like the Torah, the Bible, and numerous other religious writings, there is no word for 'homosexual' or 'homosexuality' in the Koran. The word was not invented until 1892 by Charles Gilbert Chaddock and then was used in a psychological framework (ref: Chaddock, Charles Gilbert (1892), trans. Psychopathia sexualis, with special reference to contrary sexual instinct: a medico-legal study by Richard von Krafft-Ebing.













































That was an interesting read. I liked his take on the story of Lot….which is what I have been arguing for years, even when I was a muslim. Thanks for putting it here…will have to visit that blog now.
He has great information that allows one to re-examine historical text from a different point of view as well as known scholars works. It is interesting to say the least.
