It’s about acting like an adult.  Pointing out wrongs, inequity, harassment, etc. it is not about just men or just women.  It is about giving a level playing field, it is about ensuring that people are treated with respect and equally.  It is about respecting humanity in whatever form it takes and not allowing others to take away human rights of dignity or self.  It is being adult enough to say stop and don’t do that again.  That even goes for beliefs that affects others in a manner that is discriminatory, derogatory or belittling.  Challenge the beliefs and challenge cultures who degrade others.  Only when you demand that this stops will a change occur.  Silence is acceptance.  So stop being silent unless you accept what the culture, belief and action is implying or stating.
