Saudia Arabia Female Activist and Driver: Manal Al Sharif on TED

Okay, here in the USA it is still June 17, 2013.  In Saudi this day was marked by an activist who dared to drive and record it two years ago.  Ted has placed up her speech on the two-year anniversary.   If ever there is a Rosa Parks in Saudi; Manal is it……I have no doubt that one day the Saudi people will look back on the event and remember her as a heroine and she will be thanked for her sacrifices.

Now I know from some of you ……..myself included that we can get just a little……direct…..yes……direct   aaannddd     forceful   aanndd    aggressive (at least I have been told that) but let us try to make an honest effort to give Muhammad (yes that is his name) a platform to convey his information and lay out his foundation for why he believes this,   okay.

So read the information in the link then ask away and if we are lucky Muhammad will actually answer our questions.

Okay: Apparently the War on Christmas now starts in June according to Gov. Rick “I not too bright” Perry

Texas Governor Rick Perry has signed a law stating that you can state, “Merry Christmas” in school without a lawsuit.  Hmm………Merry Christmas,………..RICK.  Stating Merry Christmas is not the problem……………. Rick.  Putting up Santa and Reindeer is not the problem………….. Rick.  These things are clearly not about religion but commercialism.  I have no problem with Santa Claus and commercialism.  I do have a problem with the nativity set and the belief in Jesus in a setting ripe for indoctrination.  Also for those of you who don’t know the fairytale birth of Jesus actually would have been in the FALL portion of the year not winter.  The winter portion was taken over as so many other traditions celebrated the Winter Solstice.

Then not so intelligent one goes on stating, “religious freedom does not mean freedom from religion.”  Hello, Rick…….but yes it does.  It means to have freedom from religion otherwise there is NO freedom.    Can somebody give the man a clue, allow him to phone a friend, or even offer a 50/50 chance?  Of course, this is a political play in a predominately “Christian” State.

Gov. Perry has a difficult time understanding the Establishment Clause and that the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States called the Incorporation Doctrine now makes it a State issue as well. Damn………..don’t you hate the constitution and its amendments?????????  Who knew we were in the United States……… oh wait….YOU IN TEXAS NOW BOY.    You just have to admire the dedication to narrow limited thinking skills which reduces humanity to his most base level.  This only goes to prove that religious conservatives truly lack high IQs as studies have indicated.
