Bigstick1 I know that there are so many posts out there about Muslim fathers abandoning their children ….due to the Islamic faith. Any thoughts on how these young men can behave in such a way. One day they are fully integrated into the western society and love the women they are with and the day they find out they are fathers they become Muslim men just for the sake of leaving the women they are with and abandoning the children they helped create. In Islam this is completely acceptable behaviour men are forgiven while women are whores? I would love to get your opinion on this matter.

You can be taught many things to include a lack of responsiblity, lack of empathy and lack of compassion. The Saudi society has taught many of their men to become users of people and to disregard humans to include their own children.
If you look at the past history of even Christians you can see that religion and society’s teachings has done this to men who truly believe women are meant to be nothing but chattel and should labor in great pain as this is their punishment for the fall of man. (We both know this to be crap.)
Of course, I can also ask the same about women in india that strangle their infant daughters on how it is possible to kill your own child but yet they do it. Then there is muslims women who help murder their daughters in honor killings.
In many societies being inhuman has either been or is currently acceptable. You have been taught differently, you have compassion and empathy. You are a caring person who just happen to find a person who has been taught otherwise. Unfortunately, right or wrong that is just the way it is.
You cannot change people. You can influence them. You can point them in a direction. However, they must make these changes themselves. In your case, you have done what you could do and now you must let it go and move on.
You need to stop beating yourself up and look at the postive aspects of what the relationship brought into your life. Learn for the experience take the positive and enjoy your child as they grow up so fast. Continue to educate women about the Saudi Society so that others might have a better understanding as well as information to determine if they would want to place themselves in a such a situation but forgive him for he is a product of his enviroment. Again I am not saying this is right just that, that is how it is.
I don’t know if this is helping you at all and I know sometimes make statements like this is how it is can be frustrating but we all have limitations on what we can control.

Atheist- A problem or solution?
I just wondering what is good thing about atheist?
Especially, when developing a great, manners, educated, sincere, loving, nation.
Of course, there will be internal and external contributor such as,
External – Other believe, races, poor, rich, low IQ, high IQ, economy breakdown, law, crime, money, radical non-religious, power, woman, etc.
Internally – Greed, Lust, Dishonest, arrogant, Hatred, Anger, Arrogant, etc.
Needs – Money, Sex, Love, Land, Family, Growth, Hope, Motivation, social, unite, etc.
As living in scholarly society, I know scholar always facing this kind of problem, different opinion, etc. As Islam motto is always “A way of life”. What kind of message atheist want to preach.
So, when the thing is mix-up and the number growing. Can atheist cope with the society, etc and how?

Like or not, there are all sort of people- bad, good, criminal, rich and poor. All people are not perfect, Let say, the number growing, and the need is different, what is the purpose, aim, and mission. Or just become like Nazi?
Atheist preaching- critic religion, nature, morale, liberal (or maybe unlaw or ultra liberal), no God exist, monkey origin, etc.
Atheist contribution – I believe atheist are hiding behind some of the prominent figure as scientist, lecturer. In the end, the majority of atheist giving nothing- or may be just sleep in sofa, not contribute anything to society.
I am not interested in Atheist at all. when I compare with my religion, atheist actually is giving nothing. As last comment, some just said “If I crush Muhammad, will you leave Islam”. The situation are same as:
“one interviewer interview the candidate and said” If I crush your old company, would you like to works with us” with more cheaper salary.
In my religion, I have aim, purpose in world, our purpose to live, how to live, motivation, motto, mission, society, rule.

First, I don’t think Atheist have to hid behind scientists. Quite a few scientists are atheists not all but a large number so I fail to understand how atheist hide behind scientist when they are often scientists.
Next, no one is preaching only pointing out the religious text flaws, inconsistencies, contradictions, fallacies, etc.
Atheists have contributed a wealth of information, technology, medicine, etc.
Atheists have lived in mixed up societies since man decided on creating a invisible sky buddy. Atheists have been persecuted by the religious, often times kill, tortured or imprisoned by the religious. Just check out all the texts to see what they do to heretics – they are killed.
Atheists don’t need to crush Muhammad as he is dead or never existed; therefore there is no need to crush him.

Not sure where you are going with Nazism since that was an intiative supported by catholics and islamists. It is well known that Hitler was a Catholic as well as Palestine’s Mutfi endorsement of Hitler. Hitler was also a great admirer of Islam.

Just because you rebel against a bankrupt, brutual and imaginery buddy system doesn’t make it not a worthy cause or an aim in achieving a life full of great things without the imaginary buddy getting in the way of life by devoted henchmen, who are set on killing those who believe differently or not at all based upon nothing more than words on paper. Harry Potter anyone?
Ask yourself how many people have died in the name of God. Now ask your self how many have died in the name of the Devil. Hands down God is a mass murderer.
Next understand that many atheists would actually like to pursue items of great understanding of the universe regarding natural laws or maybe even the exceptions to natural laws if there is such a thing. However, it is the exploration of the unknown that is the greatest adventure. Even a human mind is a great unknown often times even to ourselves as we are complex beings with a multitude of ideas and errant thoughts.
The adventure is in the exploration of that which is not known or readily assessible. However life is what you make of it as well. You can be very confined in a narrow belief system sticking to the known rhetoric (even if proven to be skewed, a lie or fallacy) and live your merry go round life or you can explore, question, seek, invent, analyze, not accept conformity and live a life far more adventurous like that of riding a roller coaster.
Since I have a choice I chose the roller coaster over the merry go round.
In term of “discriminatory, torturous, murderous, degenerative, etc.”
There are non-religion basic have done the action such as racist, prostitution, drug trafficking, capitalist. The most murderous crime in the world is hunger.
For me,we must stick on the reality of human being.

Actually I know already no body can make an a utopia – even atheist. Muslim acknowledge the imperfect world, that why we just do it.
So, when I heard the atheist talks, I notice that atheist just know how to complaint, but not given solution.
There must be someone sacrifice for other benefits. If all can make little sacrifice, then all people can be good. Must start from ourselves.
I think, historical there are a few leader in Islamic country that have contribute many thing, humanity, etc. One of the name is Umar Abdul Aziz.

Actually I am not a fan of religious hatred, or humanitarian hatred. As I believe, in multireligion or multi race, there should have a common understanding of believe.
I believe, if you are correct, then show yourself as truth by doing so, not by pointing finger. People looking at result, not what have been preach.

So, the original question :
Atheist- A problem or solution?
Atheist when they are small, they are not make any harm, but when they are big, I think the same problem will come. Comparing to theist, the result is almost the same or many be better.
So by applying the same concept of extremist, terrorism. I think Theist can just use the same method to attack Atheist. Talking about bad thing will demoralize everybody and create tension among everybody- nothing good. Even, critic should have their own way, politely, scholarly, etc and not with emotional behavior. Because human require to control their heart with their wisdom.
In the end, who will provide a good foundation, preach what they said, will manage to be on the top – or may be again. Harry Truman once said : There is nothing new in the world except the history you do not know”.

A-theist just means no belief in God or theology purporting to hold a god up. There is no dogma with a non-belief in God.
I believe a famous atheist made a statement that most people are a-theists as they do not believe in the 1000′s of gods of the past it just so happens that atheists goes one step further in believing in no God.
